Topic 1: Relocation of the US embassy to Jerusalem 

In celebration of the 70th Gregorian anniversary of creating the modern state of Israel (despite warnings from Arab allies), the Trump administration relocated the US embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, recognizing it as Israel's capital. Trump's actions upended decades of US policy and wavered any peace deal between Israel and Palestine. 

 

Topic 2: Jadhav issue  

Jadhav is a 50-year-old retired Indian Navy officer, who was sentenced to death by a Pakistani military court on charges of espionage and terrorism in April 2017. In May 2017 India approached the ICJ against Pakistan for denial of consular access to Jadhav and challenging the death sentence.
